Leaking Carburettor Inlet Pipe
After noticing fuel leaking all over the floor I found that it was been pumped out of the carburettor inlet on the float chamber lid, where the filter is located. The leak was caused by a perished o-ring on the inlet.

The A-bank inlet exposed after removing the
air ducting assembly "elbow". The arrow
indicates the exact location of the fuel leak.

A close-up picture of the location of the leak.

The fuel inlet and fuel assembly. Note how the spring
has compressed the filter.
All cleaned up with replacement filter
and new o-ring (arrowed)

Job complete! Remember to do both sides
while you are at it.

The fuel inlet and filter assembly,
clean and without leaks!
