Maintenance and Repairs

By doing some of your own maintenance you truly appreciate and experience the uncompromising quality and craftsmanship of a Rolls-Royce or Bentley motorcar. These cars are very well built, with only the finest materials, and are beautifully finished.

The following pages mostly illustrate maintenance and repairs I have done to my own vehicles. I must point out that I am not an expert or a mechanic.  For me, maintenance is part of the hobby, so I spend a lot of time doing research and asking many questions. I correspond extensively with other enthusiasts and technical experts from all over the world, as well as locally, and welcome your input as well.

It is important to note that Rolls-Royce vehicles, especially post 1965, are complicated beasts. We must respect our limitations, and accept that it is often wise to rather leave repairs to the experts. There is nothing more undignified than a poorly maintained Rolls-Royce or Bentley motorcar.
